Orio al Serio airport: a starting point for endless destinations

It takes an hour to get from Bergamo to Milan by train. For those who want to travel eastward the most important station is Brescia. From here you can take trains leading to Verona, Padua and Venice.
There are many bus services that offer a regular service connecting passengers arriving to Bergamo airport to Milan. A service is operated by Gruppo Autostradale and leads to the Central Station of Milan. Occasional services also stop at Milan Lambrate station. Another company, Orioshuttle, connects the airport to Milano Centrale station. In both cases, the journey takes about 50 minutes. The shuttle bus leaves approximately every 30 minutes.
The Autostradale group also offers a service connecting the Orio al Serio Airport to Brescia. It leads to the railway station and the bus station. The journey takes about 1 hour.
Once you reached the Bergamo centre, is worth moving walking. In any case, the city offers an efficient bus network. From the railway station a bus will take you to the cable car station and then to the Upper City, every ten minutes. The cable car experience is one of the most exciting of Bergamo. The trip is short, but allows you to enjoy a truly stunning views.
